splinter you renew my interest in this scraper, so I tried looking it up a different way. I looked for when a patent was granted and found this. US Patent number 723,143 granted Mar. 17 1903. So anytime after that I guess you can say they were made. Also under the patent issue info. Their is a complete drawing of the scraper.
