Would anyone know if a KK lever cap would fit a K body plane ?

Should fit and function fine, however, the few that I checked are a bit wider, for example my LC off my KK4 1/2 is spot on 2 3/8" while the K is a 1/16 under at 2 5/16". I think a better replacement, if that's what your looking for would be a Stanley type 10 through 12. As you know Stanley made the K series planes based off there type 4 Bedrocks. Date wise these line up best with type 11 Stanleys with the smooth keyhole style lever caps.

Thanks a lot I have a Marsh and a Keen Kutter K both 5 1/2 . The marsh is missing the lever cap and the K has a 2 3/8 on it . I just missed a marsh 2 1/4 on E-bay . I thought my bee the KK would work out on the K 5 1/2.
